Object categories are used to classify objects and groups of objects and are especially beneficial as a filter function. Customers can search for all Living Spaceships, regardless of price range and the actual rental property. Files that have been uploaded to the object categories, are automatically available in the collections and objects.

The object category can be set both in the object group, as well as in the rental object itself. If a object group is already assigned to a object category, all objects with this object group will be assigned automatically to the object category.

Example: If you have a Mercedes ML420 SUV as a rental object, you can classify this object into the object group Mercedes SUV. In addition, you can classify the object group in the object category SUV.
